Key Functions
- Responsible for delivering on the detail of the Strategy Implementation Plan agreed by the Board as follows:
* The resettlement of the Longstone Hospital Long Stay population;
* The development and on-going evaluation of the interim Core Hospital Model;
* The development of robust community services with sufficient capacity to prevent admission to hospital or facilitate discharge from hospital;
* Liaison with external agencies including the NIHE to ensure proposed housing schemes for resettlement are included in the 'build programme';
* Taking forward the decisions reached by Longstone Finance Group in regard to a formula for release of funds through the closure of wards at Longstone Hospital; and
* The involvement of users/carers in the process of change.
