The Planning and Performance Management Directorate comprises the following core sections:

Key Roles and Functions
- Co-ordinating the translation of regional strategic objectives into local plans, which involves drawing on advice from professionals and seeking the views of the local community to ensure the effective delivery of health and social services to our resident population.
- Production and implementation of health and wellbeing improvement plans throughout the Board's area, taking account of Programme for Government and, in particular, Priorities for Action.
- Lead role in the development and monitoring of Targeting Social Need (New TSN) action plans.
- The development of the Board's performance management framework, including monitoring progress against the Board's Health and Wellbeing Investment Plan and other targets as set by the Department of Health. Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS).
- Developing a process for monitoring the Board's progress towards achieving its own corporate objectives.
